"Tessa Jane sees beauty in everything and waits until it can shine in her art"
Art in Devon

An International Fine Art Textile specialist, creating large and small-scale works for interiors and fashion. Tessa  likes to say, “Paintings with purpose. I take that which has been discarded and make it precious again”.

Her work has many layers visually and conceptually, using printed, collaged, drawn, and stitched mixed media. She responds to work from poetry/written word and is nearly always inspired by natural forms. Tessa recycles and repurposes, sourcing discarded objects. She uses the sewing machine as a drawing tool along with found and conventional materials.
