Morning light…

This is my favourite time of year….. The hedgerows are so beautiful with life literally bursting from them. I’ve been back to The Garden House a favourite haunt and have been exploring new walks with my dogs-was thrilled to see a fox yesterday! The greens are so fresh, with countless ferns; the shuttle cock and hearts tongue and Red Campion such inspiration for new work.

The morning light on Tuesday was fabulous; golden rays touching every bow, highlighting and splashing warmth everywhere; the dew heavy like diamonds clustered on leaves. The rich burgundy red of the smoke bush contrasting with the cold white crystal droplets. -All feeding my inspiration. I call it CJing. Creative juices. I am a cup and have to fill to overflowing before new work commences. Once other distractions are sorted, like e-mails, bills and everyday things are done (“commercials” my Uncle calls them) work can commence.

I’ve been back to Delamore and fallen in love yet again. I’ve dropped work off at the Limekiln Gallery, Calstock. A superb little gallery which is a must see place and liaised with The Garden House to organize when works new to there will be hung. Now I want to finish some new never before seen pieces and get my loom up and running ready for the next Arts Market June 2nd, Bank Square Tavistock. Enjoy the pictures and see which illustrate my activities best!
